Create a “Home” Page
Navigate to your website dashboard, click Pages » Add New.
Now title your new page “Home”. Make sure to click “Save & Publish”.
Set a Static Front Page
Select the Site Customizer via Appearance » Customize within the admin panel dashboard and then click on the “Static Front Page” tab on the left.
Select the Static Page radio button option, then from the drop down options choose your new page.
You’ll be presented with the preview window which will display your newly selected page as the front page of your site, if you’re happy click on the Save & Publish button.
Optional – Create a blog page
If you wish to have a blog, you also have the option to set-up a separate page which will display your recent posts elsewhere on your website.
Just as you did by setting a static “home” page above, you’ll need to create a new page and title it “blog”. Then return to the customiser, and select this page from the “Posts Page” drop downs.
